When considering the adoption of a horse it is important to be aware of the costs that accompany such an undertaking. You will be responsible for providing the proper care and ongoing maintenance of the horse. This includes providing appropriate year round shelter, free access to water, proper feed, vaccinations, dental care, hoof care, deworming and trailering. You will also be responsible for arranging veterinary care in the event of illness or accident. The following guidelines are presented to provide an estimate of the yearly maintenance costs associated with horse care.

Hay $350 (summer pasture, winter feeding) included

We reserves the right to refuse any adoption if we do not feel the prospective adopter and horse result in a suitable match. We might ask for more information's and other form if you are approved for adoption. Even if you are approved to adopt a horse, we reserve the right to refuse your application for certain horses, as we have some horses that need to have owner with experience and/or knowledge about breed/training. thanks for you understanding.

Upon approval of this application for a general adoption or for the adoption of a specific horse, LF ranch rescue will contact you and arrangements can be made for the adoption to take place.

Adoptions are not a first come, first serve basis.
We will match our horses with the most appropriate fit, therefore if there is more than one person interested in the same horse please understand that it may be that you are a good adoptive family, but not the best match for that specific horse
.



Mares are adopted on the condition they not be breed. Colt are released on the condition they must be gelded as soon as possible and not be used for breeding. *unless autorized by LF Ranch Rescue*



You will have to sign a Equine Adoption Agreement if you are approved to our facility and found a horse that you want to adopt. Thanks
